Battery has expanded in size

So I was using my Macbook Pro one morning when I noticed that it wasn't sitting flat on the table. I naturally lifted it up to look for the object which must have gotten lodged underneath, but found nothing. Putting it back down it was still not sitting flat, in fact it was really rocking when I tried to use it.

I lifted it up again and had a closer look. That's when I realized the battery was literally bulging, it had grown by half a centimeter at one end and was trying to pop out of the macbook. I obviously uttered some fairly profound comments on the situation and switched my machine off and removed the battery.

After a brief call with Apple they are going to replace the battery but wanted me to send the laptop into a service centre to double check for damage to the Macbook from the battery's bulge. There are two choices in Dublin, Mactivate and Typetec. Since Mactivate is the only one who picks up there is really only one choice in Dublin.

My Macbook is now with Mactivate, and I'm a little apprehensive. I know people who have had mixed dealings with them, so I'm hoping for a quick check and a new battery.
